Christie Coming To Stafford Wednesday For Town Hall Meeting

Law enforcement officers will be present and will wand all attendees


Governor Chris Christie will make an appearance in Manahawkin on Wednesday for what is being dubbed a "Sandy Recovery Town Hall, according to the governor's office.

The event will be held at 3 p.m. at St. Mary of the Pines on 100 Bishop Way. The doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

Be prepared to be searched. No bags of any kind are permitted and personal items will be subject to search.

"Due to safety requirements, law enforcement officers will be in attendance and will wand all attendees," said Sara Dolan, a spokesman for the governor's office.

Christie's last appearance in Manahawkin was in the truck bays at the Stafford Volunteer Fire Company. It was his first appearance after the Bridgegate scandal.
