Giles Responds On Twitter To 9-11 Controversy

Charles Giles did not have a good day yesterday.

A New Jersey News 12 broadcast detailed what appeared to be inaccuracies about the Barnegat resident's actions on 9-11 and subsequent actions.

"The truth will come out," he tweeted. "How is it my stories are false that the affidavits needed are in my attorney's hands."

Giles also blasted social media sites.

"It's a shame that certain Social Media sites i.e., Facebook allows people to Cyber Bully them and now Stalk their home," he tweeted. "I am done with this."

A Port Authority police officer, now retired, told News 12 yesterday evening that that Giles' claim he was pulled alive from the World Trade Center rubble is untrue.

The story appeared on News12, and a second half is scheduled for tonight.

 “I never saw the person, never met the person; I was never inside the building,” he says.

For years, Giles has claimed he was pulled alive from the rubble of the North Tower after the World Trade Center attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, by a Port Authority officer, number 1236.

In the segment, News12 questions Giles on his description of being in the North Tower and how he has claimed to meet the officer, identified as Mark Meier. 

Giles then notes in the segment that it was possible he got the badge number wrong.
