Barnegat School District Will Start Half-Day Preschool In Fall

The Barnegat Township School District will operating a half-day integrated preschool program for the 2014-2015 school year.  The program will be located at the Cecil S. Collins School, and combine students with and without special needs.

 This program will follow the New Jersey State Department of Education’s Preschool Teaching and Learning Expectations:  Standards of Quality and will be taught by a dual certified teacher.  The children will be challenged by age appropriate curriculum and will also have the benefit of the many activities that are offered during a school day.

 The program will follow the Barnegat Township’s School District’s 2014-2015 academic calendar.  Classes will be held from Monday through Friday from 9 A.M. to 11:25 a.m. or 12:25 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.  Parents will be responsible for providing transportation.

Space is limited. There are only a few slots available for resident students without special needs who will turn four by October 1, 2014.  Completed applications will be accepted until June 20, 2014.  The tuition rate for students without special needs is $3,400.00.  Students will be determined by random selection.
