PHOTOS: Dunfee Students Thank Veterans with Songs, Ceremony
The entire student body of the elementary school gathered before classes for a special belated Veterans Day event
Students from Lillian M. Dunfee Elementary School gathered around their flag pole Tuesday morning to offer a special thank you to veterans, complete with songs, a poem and the unfurling of a banner signed by the whole student body.
The event, scheduled for today because schools were closed Nov. 11, honored veterans from the Barnegat American Legion.
