Southern Regional Grads Ready to Ram Forward
The class of 2013 numbered 504 who overcame Sandy to get to the finish line.
Just over 500 Southern Regional High School students put on their caps and gowns last night and received their high school diplomas, with the school's valedictorian, Allyson Rong-Hua Liu offering this advice: "Do some good in the world, it will make your mom proud."
The speech also referenced the many obstacles many Southern graduates have already had to overcome, including much of the community being severely impacted - including losing homes and a week of school - due to Superstorm Sandy.
