Jillian Smith, a senior at Southern Regional High School, was recently named a News 12 New Jersey Scholar Athlete.
One of the top distance runners in New Jersey, Jillian is also at the top of her class. She helped Southern Regional High School place sixth in the New Balance Track & Field National Championships last year and has been recruited by Georgetown University and the University of Virginia.
A self-proclaimed history buff, Smith is considering a career in International Relations.
