Barnegat Varsity Cheerleaders Take First in Group at States

Cheer squad are Group II state champs for second year running; also take third in Large Varsity Division

The Barnegat Varsity Cheerleaders are state championships for the second year in a row.

The squad, led by head coach Shannon Smith, ranked first in Group II at the 19th Annual State Cheerleading Championship, held Sunday at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton.

The team also took third in the Large Varsity Division. Check out these photos from the weekend.
