GALLERY: "Jogging With Jake"

The first 5K run/jog/walk to raise money in support of families with autistic children was held Saturday.

Dozens of residents from near and far gathered at the municipal docks on Saturday to participate in a 5K run dedicated to , who has autism. Jake's parents, Chris and Dawn Furrule, organized the event to raise money for Variety Club, a charity that raises funds for a variety of causes. In this case, the funds will go toward resources for families with autistic children, the Furrules said.
