Come join this first convocation of members of Ocean County writers' groups to discuss the possibility of forming an association to market published works. TUESDAY - Barnegat Planning Board,
7:30 p.m., municipal building, 900 West Bay Avenue.

TUESDAY - Burr Street Cafe,
7 p.m., Barnegat branch of the Ocean County Library, 112 Burr Street. Discuss books you've read and listen to other readers' recommendations.

FRIDAY - Horizon Healthcare of New Jersey's Blue to You
van will be at the Barnegat branch of the Ocean County Library at 112 Burr Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. An advisor will be on hand to discuss claims, healthcare reform and other issues.

SATURDAY - Family Movie: Teen Beach Movie,
2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library. The movie is rated "G."

SUNDAY
- "War of the Worlds" - a re-enactment of Orson Welles' 1938 broadcast that panicked America, 2 p.m., Mancini Hall, Ocean County Library, Toms River. Presented by the WREP Players. Admission is free.

SUNDAY - Superstorm Sandy - One Year Later, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ocean County College Theater, 1000 College Drive, Toms River. The commemorative event is hosted by the Ocean County Long-Term Recovery Group. Residents, spiritual and emotional providers, responders and officials on various local, county, state and federal levels will share hope and healing for Sandy survivors. Speakers and musical presentations, and community agencies will be available to provide information for residents. A special program is planned for children. Refreshments will also follow.
