SATURDAY - Walk for Autism Speaks, 9 a.m., Veterans Park, Bayville. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10am. Come walk and enjoy a family fun filled day with a bounce house, a giant slide, the Home Depot Kids workshop, face painting and more.
SATURDAY - So Long To Summer Flea Market and Bake Sale, Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park Zoo, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., One Humane Way, Lacey Township. Many of the animals available for adoption will be showcased.
SUNDAY - 22nd Annual Governor's Fishing Tournament at Island Beach State Park. The registration fee is $20 for ages 18 and up. Registration for ages 13-17 is $5. Registration is free for children 12 and under. Tournament anglers may be asked to verify their compliance with the New Jersey Saltwater Recreational Registry Program. SUNDAY - 30th Annual Chowderfest, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Ninth and Taylor avenues, behind Bay Village, Beach Haven. Visitors who purchase VIP tickets for $50 get into the red and white tasting tents an hour earlier, and receive a T-shirt. Regular tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Both tickets entitle visitors to unlimited chowder tasting.
