The Gold Duster is a fine art gallery that also sells American-made gifts in Barnegat's historic downtown. In business since 2009, the gallery is housed in an original 1700s structure at the corner of Bay Avenue and Route 9.
Work on display includes sculptures, paintings, drawings and gift items, most by local artists. The framed artwork on the walls is rotated every 90 days.
Owner Karen Matthews is herself an artist; her portraits in pencil, pastel and charcoal are also available in the gallery.
