Greed will be the death of us all. Take a step back and really look at your life, focus on what you…Read More have and not what you do not.
Stop spending all your time and money trying to impress people you dont even know by buying expensive overpriced cars and flashy jewelry. If you think back on your best day of your life or your happiest moment in life I will bet it did not cost you a dime. Time is what is truly valuable and you can not buy it so make it count. This poor lady may lose ten years of her life due to not thinking she had enough. Dont let this happen to you

I will never understand why taxpayer $$$ go to police campaigns, such as this, when there are so…Read More many other pressing needs/problems. Why do police have to get paid extra to enforce our laws? BTW, enforcing the hands-free law, esp. on texters, would be a great place to start.
Teresa Cioffi May 22, 2013 at 01:11 pm
The heroin and pill problem here would be a great place to start.

I was going to get into a battle of wits here with Ann's comment..but no use going to battle with an…Read More unarmed person.....MAYBE..they are trying to save some lives..AND..the traffic stops they are making is giving them probabl cause to make contact with the driver which many times leads to other arrests..such as our drug problem,,,

Everyone is so fast to blame the driver. The driver will get a ticket and then be sued by the person…Read More he hit. But what about the guys crossing a highway in the middle of the road ( not at a light) in the dark. What happen to jay walking laws?
Tom May 28, 2013 at 05:07 pm
There needs to be tall concrete barriers installed on 72 like the ones on route 37 ones that…Read More pedestrians cannot climb over. This needs to be done also for safety of drivers drivers going 55mph + are not looking for someone crossing a 6 lane highway in that area. There needs to be barriers installed so that cars do not loose control and cross into the opposing lanes. There is even no curb too close and congested of an area not to have barriers.

Relax C.C will be the Gov. of NJ. At this time no candidate with a set of ....

If they thought the people of NJ did not want him as Gov. why let Buono

I'm so happy she's been found. If it was one of my kids, I'd be alternately hugging her and yelling…Read More at her. I guess most parents would. Glad for a happy ending here.

On the same day a man in a silver pick up truck tried to call my son over to his vehicle. My son was…Read More walking home from his bus stop off Hickory Lane and the man was driving towards him, he apparently pulled so hard to the right, my son thought he was drunk and was going to hit him. The truck was at such an angle that the driver called to my son from his drivers side window and not across the passenger seat. My son ran home and called his father, who stayed on the phone with him until he arrived home. I was home 15 minutes later and the Berkeley police were there, they took descriptions. I believe in the good of people and thought maybe the guy was just trying to ask him something. Other neighbors who saw the police at my home , called me so I explained the situation. Apparently there has been a person by same description and vehicle "following" behind the elementary school bus and of course stopping every time the bus let off kids...could he be watching to see who is met by a parent or walks home alone? I wonder why this wasn't posted on the Berkeley Patch. It could have been nothing, but at least give us a fighting chance.

the reason why I said it was an incomplte story was , that it was. there are many ways to convey a…Read More story, but this one was on the TV newses, and there was no follow up. except she was OK, whish I`m glad. but like the Cleveland ohio abductions nothing was done for 10 years, and they (the police) are all denying they were not notified. all this news story needed was that it was a family problem, and that all is well now.
