The senior communities are a credit to Barnegat and pay a lot of taxes that support the schools.Read More Now, if only the rest of Barnegat would clean up their neighborhoods it wouldn't be called Barneghetto.

Platelet donors are far and few between, step up and help folks. When/If you need platelets you willRead More be thankful that someone was kind enough to donate for you.

Great job as always Pat! Post an article at 12:54am telling readers about an event that holdsRead More registration at 8:30am. Nothing like giving some advance notice. And the downward spiral continues.

Chris, Good for you. I've been a doctor for 27 years. First of, hearing the county asking AFTER theRead More 2nd call "Confirm you have a crew ?" counts. I don't know how else you want to put it, unless if you say that county communication and recording is BS. Second, I talked to 2 of the firefighters that were on scene. Can you seriously write here, that YOU or the Squad USED the defib (setting it up, running it the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time) while you were on scene ? Can you confirm that you or the squad did CPR on the firefighter ? Because if yes, then I will apology right away. Please prove me wrong. If not, be humble and leave the credit to the ones who deserve it.

I tried to correct my spelling, but too late. Anyway. There is no animosity toward any service.Read More There was just a point by Charles J. Giles saying that the resuscitation was solely done by the Fire Dept. after your post.

Yes I can confirm that a third shock was delivered while our EMS first responder was on scene tryingRead More to secure an airway and a fourth was delivered as I was bagging the patient. My point here isn't to get into a superficial argument about who deserves credit and what measures were used. I merely posted saying a thanks to the members of the squad who were a part of caring for this patient and played a part in his care. If you or Mr. Giles begrudge a thank you then that's your decision.

Mr. Cox. You and your family are such great people, and it doesnt surprise anyone that you all wouldRead More be putting this event together. Best of luck to everyone involved.

What a wonderful job tonight by Matt Cox and all the young people who made this event possible. ItRead More is a shame the crowd wasnt up to expectations, but you all did a great thing and should be proud. I enjoyed meeting TJ. Gilmartin tonight. TJ. is a real 9-11 first responder and is quite well known in the New York and National Media. He and his fiance drove a long way to support this event, and it was much appreciated.

I was very surprise that the Barnegat Schools did not hold any kind of memorial service so that theRead More middle school students (Kyle was a 6th grader) could come together to honor and mourn.
