Does anyone have any idea how bad the tide is on Railroad Avenue in Manahawkin and how the houses are fairing along bay and Mallard Island? I'm certain that Sandy is having quite an impact at this time.
Any information/ photos would be appreciated ! Worrying !

I think we're all curious about Millcreek. I have a neighbor who was at the Hucks Food Store this morning trying to get further down on Millcreek. Haven't heard from him yet but will post if I do. I live across the bay on Millcreek where there are no houses in front.

Regarding the Barnegat docks, I posted some pictures of Bayshore and W. Bay last week but don't see them. The decking along the bulkhead is gone., From a distance the large deck and gazebo are still there.

The area looks like a war zone. We own a house on Benjamin, which is last lagoon
and rd off Millcreek. Houses on both sides of us got water on first floors, lots of mud and yards are filled with debris. We had 18 inches in our garage. Owners are dragging wet soaked household items to the curbs and backhoes are loading it onto mac dump trucks. Older ranches in older
millcreek areas suffered the worse and some are to be demolished. All owners should check out your homes. It is a race against mold if water got into your house.
