Ship Bottom Crash Victim Cut From Vehicle As Four Sent To Hospital
Surf City Volunteer Fire Company extracts at least one victim from broadsided minivan in Ship Bottom Monday evening
All four occupants of two vehicles involved in a two-car crash at the intersection of Central Avenue and 9th Street in Ship Bottom were transported to the hospital on Monday evening. According to unconfirmed reports from witnesses, police and emergency responders, an eastbound gray Jeep allegedly attempted to pass through the intersection of 9th Street and Barnegat Boulevard and struck a southbound white Honda minivan as the light was changing around 6 p.m. Monday. As a result of the collision, the broadsided (T-boned) minivan turned 90 degrees, vaulted the curb in front of the Wawa strip mall and struck a vehicle in the parking lot.
