LBI's family-oriented south-end town.
Although much work remains to be done, particularly in the Holgate section, months of rebuilding efforts following Sandy have helped bring many popular attractions in Long Beach Island's Queen City, Beach Haven, back to life, just in time for summer 2013. Beach Haven has a vast collection of shops and restaurants than much of the rest of LBI, as well as big attractions such as the Fantasy Island arcade and a Thundering Surf Water Park, making it a popular vacation and day-trip destination. The borough stretches from 12th Street on the north end to Nelson Avenue on the south end. Beach badges: Seasonal badges are $30 until June 28 and $40 starting June 23. Weekly badges are $20; daily badges are $5. Children 12 and under, adults 65 and …

Sitting center to the island, it is little wonder why the Brant Beach section of Long Beach Township was selected as a main point for a summer kick-off party. We are seeing light at the end of the tunnel, but it has been a long haul ...   more ›
