My name is Charlie Giles. I am a 12 year resident of Barnegat Township. I am a married man with two wonderful daughters. I am also a disabled 9/11 First Responder. I take 31 medications for 18 diagnoses to stay alive. I will do anything to assist a fellow first responder as an advocate, including their family and of course any veteran. I also enjoy writing.  I am also an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, A Reader at St. Mary's Church, Coordinator of The Spanish Outreach Group and a member of the Parish Council. I am also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3826 and Assembly1926 , and a trustee;of the SAL at American Legion Post 232 in Barnegat.

I consider myself a Pioneer of Doing what is Right. People have often referred to me as a perfectionist as well. This is True. If your going to do something, do it right or don't do it. As a 9/11 First Responder Advocate I do whatever it takes to keep the phrase "NEVER FORGET" in everyones head.

I Love my family very much and will do anything for them. My wife Diane has stuck by me through my illnesses and she is my rock. My daughters Kaitlin and Clarissa have always been there through the rough times which our family endures and I Love them all very much.
